At 4:00 a.m. today, the eye of Typhoon (International Name: SOULIK) was located based on all available data at 1,365 km east of Itbayat, Batanes (20.8°N, 136.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph. It is forecast to move west northwest at 20 kph.
