Overnight fresh medium winds blowing from SW but this morning bact to light winds blowing from W. A cloudy and crowd morning as of 7am surfer on the water more than 30, the 1-2ft E swell clean waist to chest high, the morning swell not consistent long mostly short wave. the sun shine and cloudy skies with smooth seas.
At 4:00 a.m. today, Typhoon "AMBO" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 740 km northeast of Basco, Batanes (24.8°N, 128.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph. It is forecast to move northeast at 24 kph. Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 450 km east of Mindanao (7.0°N, 130.0°E).
