Synopsis:
At 4:00 a.m. today, Tropical Depression "LABUYO" was estimated based on all available data at 1,150 km East of Catarman, Northern Samar (12.2°N, 136.2°E)with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 9 kph. Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated in the vicinity of Cuyo, Palawan(11.4°N, 121.5°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.
