the 5-6ftNNE swell continue this morning heavy and strong with light to moderate offshore winds. in the afternoon little bit drop to 4ft NNE with the light to moderate winds with few up to 6ft NNE stayed strong and heavy, in the morning has no surfer but in the afternoon has 4 surfers with 1 body boarder, the sun shine with partly cloudy skies and moderate seas.
As of 4 a.m., PAGASA Ompong was estimated at 940 km east-southeast of Calayan, Cagayan.
It packed maximum winds of 215 kph and gustiness of up to 250 kph, and is forecast to move north-northwest at 9 kph.
