Ocean 101 Cloud 9 Surf Report

October started with a bang as usual,Swell grew to 5-6ft this morning from the same nice NE direction and with a decent period also.Wind was exactly the same as it has been for the last 10 days also, very light offshore early growing to medium strength by mid morning and continuing through the day to back off to light again on dusk.Crowd today was beautiful or maybe my timing was impeccable as when i paddled out at mid tide in the morning there was only 1 other until 10 minutes later there was 3 of us and it stayed this way for another half an hr,it was like the place was deserted but it then became up to 12-15 but that was fine then at last light i had it again with 3-4 others for an hr.
