Today we were treated to a wavefest again,with the Swell growing overnight to a roaring 6-7ft at first light,expectations were high for a day of heavy uncrowded slabs coming through the nine but whilst waiting for the tide to come in with high at 3pm sadly the swell backed off to 5-6ft and therefore the crowd grew to 10-15.Wind stayed offshore all day and only rose just above medium strength. Synopsis: Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Mindanao. Forecast: Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and the province of Negros Occidental will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. METRO MANILA and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to northwest will prevail over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to northwest over the rest of Luzon and coming from the west to southwest over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas
