swell looking good again,,, according to gerry degan at 6am the swell up 4ft good barrel but crowd close to 40 surfers, high tide before 4am as of 8am crowd close to 20 people and swell drop to 2ft NE chest to over head high, clean and good quality swell. The strong winds blowing offshore and forecast stayed strong offshore all day. the sun shine with cloudy skies and moderate seas.
quicksilver, jacking horse and tuason point waist to chest high also semi clean.
At 4:00 a.m. today, Tropical Storm "KAREN" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 540 km East of Virac, Catanduanes (14.4°N, 129.9°E) with maximum sustained winds of 105 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 135 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 15 kph.
