The 18th international siargao surfing cup finally finished yesterday afternoon and won by PISO ALCALA (the 2010 international surfing cup champion)
The NE swell increassing about 2-3ft chest to head high semi clean and solid with some overhead high and clean sets, the light SSW winds blowing cross shore and forecast to go W and SSE later. surfer wait until lunch time when the tide start rising because the forecast is light offshore wind. the sun shine with partly cloudy skies and smooth seas. as of 73:0am crowd only 4 people.
jacking horse waist high and quicsilver and tuason point up chest high. all has no crowd.
At 4:00 a.m today, the eye of Typhoon "LAWIN" was located based on satellite and surface data at 350 km East of Calayan Group of Island (19.5°N, 125.1°E) with maximum sustained winds of 205 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 240 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 13 kph.
