cloud 9 philippines surf report

Ocean 101 Cloud 9 Surf Report
Siargao Island Philippines
28 September 2014

And again today we had an increase in swell height and consistency to 4 ft from the Northeast.Wind was the same as it has been light to medium strength offshore with the occasional shift to cross shore.Crowd was the same also heavy when not in contest mode.Sadly again today as I was surfing nearby Tuazon Point,a shallow left heavier than cloud 9. Two girls paddled out on funboards into a lineup that was clearly FAR beyond their capability,so I paddled over and after a very brief conversation advised them they would be much safer elsewhere. My call is to other Resort owners that may have limited surfing experience PLEASE DONT ADVISE THIS BREAK TO BEGINNERS. Synopsis: Southwest Monsoon affecting Mindanao. Forecast: Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds blowing from the north to northwest will prevail over Luzon ,from the Northwest to west over Visayas and coming from the southwest to west over Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
