Ocean 101 Cloud 9 Surf Report
Siargao Island Philippines
25 September 2014

Sadly today we have begun a slide in swell height dropping back to the 6 inch to 1 ft range coming from the NE.Wind has been light onshore at times but varying in strength from light to non existent .Crowd was heavy very early then backed off, due to dogs barking at 2am and insomnia I decided to go out early to beat the crowd but only managed to get a couple of head dips laying on my board but it stopped the boredom and it gave me the opportunity to watch everyone arrive even the pride of South Australia Max Longhurst who was the first in the dark and was slightly pissed to have been pipped at the post.Synopsis: Ridge of High Pressure Area (HPA) affecting Northern Luzon. Forecast: The whole archipelago will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough. Winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to northwest over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.
