Thanks to Huey and Mayor Jamie( pronounced Himy) we have had a slight increase in swell size and quality only to a weak 2ft.But that was enough to allow round 1 of the International Surfing cup to begin.Wind was light early then picked up to a medium strength onshore during the day.Crowd was heavy early then went into just contestants. Synopsis: Southwest Monsoon affecting Mindanao. Forecast: Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening. Light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast to northwest will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and coming from the southwest to west over Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
