a stormy morning.. luckily not strong rain. the swell close to 15ft ESE very strong, heavy with some more than 20ft very long swell start close from tuason point surf break up to jacking horse. lots of water moving around and water very dirty because of the water from mountain.

At 4 am PhT...2000 gmt...the eye of Super Typhoon Bopha was located by MTSAT-2 satellite imagery...to be near latitude 7.7 north...longitude 126.7 east or about 22 kilometers...14 miles...east of Cateel, Davao Oriental.
Still showing a well-rounded eye approximately 17 kilometers in diameter...starting to make landfall over the town of Cateel..
Western and northern eyewall continues to affect the towns of Cateel, Boston, and Banganga all in Davao Oriental...and Bislig City in Surigao Del Sur. Typhoon force winds of more than 120 km/hr blowing from the north and blinding rains currently occurring across these areas. A 30 to 45 minutes of lull will occur over Cateel as the eye passes by...then watch out for the return of the destructive winds, this time blowing from the south...and the resumption of the heavy to extreme rainfall.
Inner rainbands spreading across Davao Provinces incl. Metro Davao, Bukidnon, Compostela Valley and the rest of Caraga Region...while its outer rainbands across the rest of Northern, Central and Southern Mindanao...and now spreading over Eastern and Southern Visayas.
