Synopsis: At 4:00 am today, Severe Tropical Storm "Nina" was estimated based on all available data at 960 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (11.0N, 134.5E) with maximum sustained winds of up to 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 120 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 23 kph. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.Â
