the siargao national surfing cup continue,, the quarterfinal heat 2 between, chungki, eloy, osot and balong. close fight (score) between balong and osot and won by balong agodo on the said heat.
The N swell is good in the range of 1-3ft chest to head high semi clean with some over head high clean and good barreling sets, the strong offshore winds continue and forecast stayed strong offshore the rest of the day, the sun shine with partly cloudy skies and moderate seas.

At 4:00 AM today, the center of Typhoon "ODETTE" was located based on all available data at 410 km East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.9°N,126.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 210 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 15 kph. Southwest Monsoon affecting Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
