the PHILIPPINE ATMOSPHERIC, GEOPHYSICAL AND ASTRONOMICAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (PAGASA) declare today for summer start in the philippines. but the typhoon MAYSAK inter the philippines area of responsibility. the fun size swell continue in the range of 1-2ft NE up to chest high semi clean with some overhead high, the light to moderate winds blowing onshore all day, the sun shine with partly cloudy skies and moderate seas.
Synopsis: Ridge of High Pressure Area (HPA) extending over Northern Luzon. Meanwhile at 4:00 PM today, the Typhoon “MAYSAK” (International Name) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) was estimated based on all available data at 1,165 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (11.3?N, 136.4?E), with maximum winds of 190 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 225 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph.
